Subtraction
You can increase your leadership effectiveness through addition or subtraction.
The world pushes us to add because that's the dominant model. But very often, the unlocking move is to subtract.
It's easy to think I need something more, something different. It's hard to look instead at what to remove or give up.
The most effective leaders I know can focus, protect themselves against energy-wasting activities, and let go of old limiting beliefs.
What will you subtract from your leadership? What prevents you and your team from fully thriving? Chances are, it's an issue of subtraction.
Subtracting reminds us that what we need to change is something already here, not out there.
